PUTRAJAYA April 17, 2026 – Minister of Domestic Trade and Cost of Living (KPDN), Datuk Armizan Mohd Ali, today paid the highest tribute to all KPDN enforcement officers, describing them as “heroes who are not always in front of the lens, yet their service is felt every day.”
In a statement issued in conjunction with the 54th KPDN Enforcement Officers’ Day, Armizan highlighted the significant contributions of the enforcement personnel who work tirelessly in the field to ensure that prices of essential goods remain stable and controlled, supplies are guaranteed, and subsidised goods reach the intended target groups without any leakage.
“Not all heroes are in front of the lens, yet their service is felt every day. When the people enjoy stable and controlled prices of essential goods, guaranteed supplies, and subsidised items that do not leak and reach the target groups, that is where the major role of the KPDN enforcement officers lies,” he said.
He also emphasised the dedication of the enforcement officers who are constantly in the field, inspecting, monitoring, and taking firm action against parties who try to take advantage, thereby protecting the rights of the people.
“I record the highest appreciation to all KPDN enforcement officers for their steadfastness, courage and integrity in shouldering this responsibility. Continue to serve with full dedication and professionalism,” said Armizan.
He concluded the statement with this year’s official slogan – “Committed to Facing Challenges” – while wishing all KPDN enforcement personnel a Happy 54th KPDN Enforcement Officers’ Day.
KPDN Enforcement Officers’ Day is celebrated annually to honour the contributions and sacrifices of officers responsible for safeguarding the people’s welfare in terms of price control, supply security, and market integrity in the country.
