PUTRAJAYA, MALAYSIA December 2025 – The Ministry of Home Affairs (KDN) today shared impressive achievements in the pilot test of the MyNIISe QR Code system, demonstrating the government’s commitment to modernising national border management in a more efficient, secure, and user-friendly manner.
Throughout the pilot implementation period that began in September 2025, MyNIISe has recorded remarkable statistics:
– 594,087 app downloads
– 284,161 registered users
– 1,863,334 recorded outbound and inbound movements
These achievements reflect the high level of public confidence in the digital transformation of immigration services, successfully reducing reliance on manual processes and expediting entry and exit procedures, particularly at major entry points such as the Johor border and international airports.
In line with the Malaysia MADANI aspirations, KDN continues to ensure that digital innovation is fully utilised for the well-being of the people and national security.
The Minister of Home Affairs, Datuk Seri Saifuddin Nasution Ismail, said: “The digitalisation of government services is a necessity, not an option. It is essential to ensure more efficient, transparent, and people-centric service delivery.”
MyNIISe will continue to be strengthened as the core of modernising national border management, in alignment with the government’s priorities in enhancing governance and building public trust in the digital immigration system.
The pilot test is expected to conclude in February 2026, with plans to further expand the system’s usage to more entry points across the country. KDN encourages the public to continue downloading and using the MyNIISe app for a smoother travel experience.
