Netflix has renewed its hit romantic comedy Nobody Wants This for a fourth season, the streamer announced on 6 November, just over two weeks after Season 3 premiered.
The renewal was confirmed by Netflix on its official X account with the message: “Nobody Wants This Season 4 is coming.”
According to Netflix, Season 3 premiered on 22 October 2026 and delivered the largest opening week for a returning comedy series on the platform this year. It entered the Global Top 10 and accumulated 13.4 million views in its first two weeks.
Across all three seasons, the series has achieved 78.5 million cumulative views and reached the Top 10 in 89 countries, the streamer said.
Created by Erin Foster, the series stars Kristen Bell as Joanne and Adam Brody as Noah, alongside Justine Lupe, Timothy Simons and Jackie Tohn. Foster serves as co-showrunner with Jenni Konner and Bruce Eric Kaplan. The series comes from 20th Television.
“We are so happy and thrilled to do another season of our favorite show on television, which coincidentally is the one we run,” said Foster, Konner and Kaplan in a joint statement.
Tracey Pakosta, Netflix’s vice president of comedy series in the US, said: “Great love stories never go out of style, and Nobody Wants This has become a true cultural phenomenon. This incredible creative team has built a show that grows with its audience, and our members around the world have embraced it season after season. We cannot be more excited for Season 4.”
Season 3 ended with Joanne completing her conversion to Judaism and the couple holding a surprise wedding on the beach. Konner hinted that the fallout will feature in the new season, saying: “There are a lot of people who are going to find out that Noah and Joanne are married when we come back.”
The fourth season will complete production in Los Angeles. Netflix has not yet announced a release date.
Nobody Wants This first premiered in 2024 and spent eight weeks on Netflix’s global Top 10 English-language TV chart.
