PUTRAJAYA, Malaysia. Sept 22, 2025 – The Malaysian government has introduced a new initiative to streamline the subsidized RON95 fuel process for its citizens. Starting with a phased rollout, the program, known as BUDI95, aims to ensure a seamless and efficient system for MyKad holders to purchase subsidized RON95 fuel.

Fuel can be purchased at designated terminals, including those managed by major oil companies like Petronas and CaltexGo, as well as through the TNG e-wallet and related oil company applications.

Key milestones of the BUDI95 program include:
– On September 27, 2025, the system will be initially opened to 300 civil servants and police personnel.
– On September 28, 2025, it will extend to STR grade B40 workers.
– By September 30, 2025, the program will be available to all Malaysian citizens aged 16 and above with a valid MyKad.

The MADANI government has emphasized that this initiative will ensure fair fuel distribution and support eligible MyKad holders, including those with disabilities, through the SARA and Penghargaan SARA systems. The Ministry of Finance will provide further updates on any additional measures.
