KUALA LUMPUR, 14 April 2026 — The Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM), through its Management Department, will organise the PDRM Special Dialogue V (PSD V) 2026, a flagship national security platform designed to drive dynamic, inclusive, and high-impact discussions on contemporary security challenges.
In a media statement issued today by PDRM Director of Management CP Dato’ Sri Abdul Aziz bin Abdul Majid, the event will be held in collaboration with strategic partner Alpine Integrated Solution Sdn. Bhd., reflecting PDRM’s strong commitment to strengthening partnerships between law enforcement agencies, government bodies, industry players, and other security stakeholders.
“Since its introduction, the PDRM Special Dialogue series has evolved from a small-scale platform into a high-profile national initiative,” the statement read. “This transformation is evident in its new annual two-day large-scale format, which expands discussion spaces and enhances whole-of-PDRM and inter-agency participation at both national and international levels.”
The PSD V 2026 is anchored on four clear strategic objectives:
- Positioning PSD as the premier national security platform;
- Strengthening collaboration networks among agencies, government, and industry;
- Mainstreaming the sharing of knowledge, expertise, and cutting-edge technology; and
- Driving innovation in integrated security systems.
A major highlight of the programme is the exhibition segment, which will showcase the latest technologies and innovations in law enforcement and internal security. The exhibition is positioned not merely as a display but as a strategic platform for technology transfer and the overall enhancement of PDRM’s operational capabilities.
Four core PDRM departments will lead the conference and forum sessions:
- Criminal Investigation Department (JSJ)
- Commercial Crime Investigation Department (JSJK)
- Narcotics Crime Investigation Department (JSJN)
- Internal Security and Public Order Department (KDNKA)
Discussions will cover a wide spectrum of current security issues, including cybercrime, financial fraud, drug trafficking, emerging security threats, public order management, and the integration of technology in modern policing.
The comprehensive programme will feature:
- An exhibition of latest law enforcement technologies
- A keynote address
- A ministerial-level forum on national security issues
- Panel sessions with industry and enforcement experts
- Professional workshops and technical presentations by local and international specialists
Organisers expect strong participation, with 200 exhibitors from 10 countries, 3,000 trade and government visitors, 200 VIP guests, and more than 100 speakers across 30 main sessions. This scale underscores growing confidence in PSD as the key venue for exchanging ideas, technologies, and forward-looking security strategies.
PDRM has extended an open invitation to all stakeholders to participate and contribute towards making PSD V 2026 a success.
“This is not merely an event, but a manifestation of national commitment to safeguarding the country’s security through collaborative, innovative, and excellence-driven approaches,” the statement emphasised.
