WASHINGTON D.C Oct 3, 2026 – The White House has presented America.gov as a new online starting point for federal government information and services, saying the government “no longer stands in your way” but “stands only at your service”.
In the post on X, the White House described the approach in three words: “Easy. Fast. Convenient.” It welcomed users to America.gov, whose site says it provides simple answers drawn only from official government sources.
The site describes itself as bringing government websites together in one place, allowing visitors to describe what they need rather than search across multiple sites. It also says no app is required and that more functions, including completing forms and tracking progress, are coming in 2027.
