KUALA LUMPUR, 20 JULY 2026 – Huawei Technologies (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd (Huawei Malaysia) and leading industry organisations unveiled a new technical white paper titled ‘High-Quality 10 Gbps AI Campus Network Technical and Standard White Paper’ at the Huawei Malaysia IP Club 2026 conference, laying the groundwork for Malaysia’s next wave of intelligent digital infrastructure.
As artificial intelligence (AI) adoption accelerates from pilot projects to enterprise-wide implementation, organisations are increasingly seeking intelligent network infrastructure to support the demands of AI applications and digital services. The white paper serves as an authoritative industry reference, outlining technical standards, best practices and implementation guidance for building next-generation AI campus networks.
Centred on ultra-fast wireless connectivity, end-to-end security and autonomous network operations, the framework enables enterprises to establish a robust digital foundation for the intelligent era.
The white paper was unveiled by Ir Dr Bernard Lim, Chair of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) Malaysia Section; Professor Emeritus Dr Sureswaran Ramadass, Chairman of the APAC IPv6 Council; Du Xianjun, Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Enterprise Business Group, Huawei Malaysia; Leon Lv, Director of Huawei APAC Enterprise Network Marketing & Solution Sales Department; and Jay Wu, Vice President of Huawei Malaysia Enterprise Marketing & Solution.
In his opening address, Deputy CEO of Huawei Malaysia Enterprise Business Group, Du Xianjun, reaffirmed Huawei’s commitment to its “In Malaysia, For Malaysia” approach and said Malaysia is moving swiftly into the AI era, with sectors such as finance, education, government and smart campuses requiring faster, smarter and more reliable networks.
“Today, we are willing to push the boundaries and work even harder and more closely with our customers, partners and industry experts to build Malaysia’s AI-ready digital infrastructure,” Du said.
David Chen, Director of Huawei Campus Network Solution Product, presented Huawei’s Xinghe Intelligent Campus Network Solution during the conference. The solution combines AI-powered networking, ultra-fast wireless connectivity, Full-Scope Security and Autonomous Driving Network (ADN) capabilities to help organisations maximise digital productivity and build future-ready campuses.
Victor Lapian, Chief Technology Officer of Huawei Asia-Pacific (APAC), outlined Huawei’s vision for Full-Scope Security, highlighting how integrated protection across digital and physical environments enable organisations to build secure, resilient and trusted campus networks.
Real-world deployments were showcased through customer sharing sessions, with Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM), Sunway Education Group and Institut Aminuddin Baki (IAB) sharing their experiences deploying Huawei’s campus networking solutions and lessons learnt from their digital transformation journeys. Their success stories showed how intelligent campus networks can improve operational efficiency, enhance user experience and accelerate digital transformation.
Complementing these discussions, the conference also featured a showcase with 31 interactive demonstration screens highlighting solutions across the education, finance and government sectors. Together with ecosystem partners, Huawei presented joint solution demonstrations and held technical discussions with customers on the latest advancements in AI-powered campus networks and intelligent digital infrastructure.
Attendees who participated in the ‘Capture & Connect’ campaign at the event were rewarded with prizes for their active engagement throughout the conference.
