SEREMBAN, Malaysia, July 20, 2025 – Deputy Prime Minister and Rural and Regional Development Minister Dato’ Seri Dr. Ahmad Zahid Hamidi today praised the Sejahtera Komuniti MADANI (SejaTi MADANI) programme for boosting socio-economic activities at the community level during a visit to Negeri Sembilan.
Accompanied by Members of Parliament, Ahmad Zahid observed initiatives under the programme as part of the MADANI Government’s engagement session. He highlighted the efforts of the Kampung Sawah Village Development and Security Committee (JPKK), which included activities such as collecting used goods and village beautification projects.
“I fully support JPKK Kg. Sawah’s initiative to implement scheduled domestic waste collection,” he said. “Such small steps can drive significant change in fostering a community culture that is more responsible and environmentally conscious.”
Ahmad Zahid expressed his commitment to expanding similar programmes focused on rural progress and well-being nationwide, aiming to enhance sustainable development and community welfare across Malaysia.
