Samsung has dropped a new promotional advertisement for the upcoming Marvel film Spider-Man: Brand New Day, blending high-energy Spider-Man action with sleek product showcases for its Galaxy devices.
The roughly two-minute cinematic spot, which began circulating on social media on July 15, 2026, opens with a sweeping view of a New York City skyline at sunrise or sunset under the “Samsung presents” banner. It quickly cuts to dynamic sequences featuring Spider-Man navigating urban environments, including scaling a building and entering through a window.
Key moments include a workshop or lab setting with a box labeled “BROKEN” filled with damaged phones, Spider-Man examining technical sketches or schematics, a Samsung foldable phone prominently displayed on a high-tech workbench surrounded by tools, and the hero hanging upside down in the workspace. The ad intercuts these with street-level crowd scenes and action sequences before concluding with a man seated on city steps viewing his phone and the Samsung logo.
The spot ties into the film’s themes of reinvention and resilience while teasing Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy Z Fold 8 and its “new shape.”
This ad continues Samsung’s major collaboration with Sony Pictures and Marvel for the film. In Spider-Man: Brand New Day, Tom Holland’s Peter Parker uses a Galaxy Z Flip foldable phone, while Jacob Batalon’s Ned Leeds employs Samsung Galaxy devices (including foldables and watches) to operate the in-universe “Spidey Tracker” — a fan experience Samsung has also brought to life in the real world.
Samsung has been actively promoting the partnership since earlier in 2026 through campaigns, limited experiences, and product integrations.
Spider-Man: Brand New Day is scheduled for theatrical release on July 31, 2026. Directed by Destin Daniel Cretton, the film stars Tom Holland as Peter Parker/Spider-Man, with Zendaya, Sadie Sink, Jacob Batalon, Jon Bernthal, and others in the cast.
It picks up years after No Way Home, with Peter living as a full-time Spider-Man in a world that no longer remembers his civilian identity. The pressure of isolation and seeing friends move on leads to significant personal change and the emergence of a powerful new threat.
The new Samsung ad adds fresh marketing momentum as the highly anticipated film approaches its premiere date, with tickets already on sale. Fans can expect more promotional material in the coming weeks as the July 31 release draws closer.
