PUCHONG, April 28, 2026 — Senior Political Advisor to Prime Minister Dato’ Seri Anwar Ibrahim, Datuk Seri Utama Tengku Zafrul Abdul Aziz, underscored the importance of close cooperation as the bedrock of unity within Pakatan Harapan (PH) during a high-profile fundraising dinner organised by DAP Kinrara here.
The event, held on April 25, 2026 at Pusat Bandar Puchong in Selangor, attracted strong grassroots support with nearly 400 tables — equivalent to an estimated 4,000 to over 5,000 attendees — reflecting robust local turnout in the ethnically diverse Kinrara constituency.
Tengku Zafrul, who was specially invited, was joined by Selangor Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Amirudin Shari and top DAP national leaders, including National Chairman Gobind Singh Deo and Secretary-General Anthony Loke Siew Fook.
In a social media post last night, Tengku Zafrul wrote: “Kerjasama erat, asas perpaduan dalam Pakatan Harapan.” (Close cooperation is the foundation of unity in Pakatan Harapan.)
He added: “Saya hadir ke fundraising dinner anjuran DAP Kinrara – hampir 400 meja, sambutan cukup kuat daripada penduduk setempat. The dinner not only served as a major fundraising event but also highlighted the ongoing alliance-building efforts within the PH coalition, which forms the backbone of Malaysia’s unity government.
The event comes amid continued efforts by PH component parties to strengthen ties ahead of future state and national electoral challenges.
