KUALA LUMPUR, June 11, 2025 – The theme for the 2025 National Day and Malaysia Day celebrations (HKHM2025), ‘Malaysia MADANI: Rakyat Disantuni,’ was announced today by Communications Minister Datuk Fahmi Fadzil, who also chairs the HKHM2025 Main Committee, during a weekly media briefing.
The existing logo will remain in use until 2027.
The Malaysia MADANI concept, inspired by Prime Minister YAB Dato’ Seri Anwar Ibrahim, emphasizes holistic and balanced development, integrating economic progress, administrative integrity, and societal unity. The theme’s focus on ‘Rakyat Disantuni’ underscores the government’s commitment to prioritizing public welfare.
The National Month celebrations will kick off with the Launch of National Month and Fly the Jalur Gemilang 2025 event on July 27 in Johor, followed by the National Day Parade on August 31 in Putrajaya, and the Malaysia Day celebration on September 16 in Penang.
Throughout the National Month, various programs will foster patriotism, including Quran Hour, Kira Detik Merdeka, 1Rumah 1Jalur Gemilang, Kembara Merdeka Jalur Gemilang, Pengisahan Kenegaraan
