KEDAH May 15, 2026 — Home Affairs Minister Datuk Seri Saifuddin Nasution Ismail successfully wrapped up the Majlis Penerapan Nilai-Nilai Murni (Implementation of Noble Values Ceremony) today at his constituency service centre here, in collaboration with various agencies under the Home Affairs Ministry (KDN) at the state level.
The event brought essential government services directly to the local community, with strong participation from residents of Padang Serai and surrounding areas.
KDN agencies delivered mobile services including the Van MEKAR JPN from the National Registration Department (JPN) and the Jom Tukar AlQuran programme. Many attendees also took advantage of the Jualan Rahmah (Rahmah Sales) offering affordable goods.
In the spirit of the programme, Saifuddin personally handed over e-Kasih financial aid to members of the Malaysian People’s Volunteer Corps (RELA) and presented motivational gifts to 147 outstanding SPM (Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia) students. He expressed hope that the gifts would further encourage the students to pursue higher education.
Additionally, the minister distributed shares of qurban meat (sacrificial meat) to KDN agencies in Kedah and several local communities in Padang Serai. The meat is expected to be collected ahead of the upcoming Hari Raya Aidiladha celebrations.
In his statement, Saifuddin highlighted the event as a practical demonstration of the MADANI Government’s commitment.
“This is the spirit of the MADANI Government — noble values are not just slogans but are translated into real services for the people!” he said.
The programme ran from morning until evening, reflecting the government’s ongoing efforts to bring administrative services closer to the rakyat through community engagement initiatives.
