PETALING JAYA May 15, 2026 — Digital Minister Gobind Singh Deo visited Empire Residence in Damansara Perdana today to personally assess the muddy water overflow incident affecting local residents.
The overflow has raised serious concerns over safety, cleanliness, and the daily comfort of residents in the area. Accompanied by relevant agencies, Deo inspected the site to identify the root cause of the problem.
In a statement, the Damansara MP (P106) said: “We have identified the cause of the incident together with the relevant agencies and parties. I want this issue to be resolved immediately for the safety and wellbeing of the residents.”
Deo added that he has directed coordinated follow-up actions and pledged to provide regular public updates on the progress.
The visit underscores the government’s commitment under the Malaysia MADANI framework to address grassroots infrastructure and environmental issues promptly, especially in residential areas.
