SEPANGGAR, Malaysia. June 29, 2025 – The 2025 PROTEGE KUSKOP Carnival for the Borneo Zone (Sabah) concluded successfully at UiTM Kota Kinabalu, officiated by Minister of Entrepreneur and Cooperatives Development, Datuk Ewon Benedick.

The carnival saw participation from students of UiTM, Universiti Malaysia Sabah (UMS), IKBN Kinarut, Politeknik Kota Kinabalu, Penampang Community College, and North Borneo University College (NBUC). It featured a range of entrepreneurship and graduate employability programs aimed at shifting mindsets from “job seekers to job creators” through entrepreneurial ventures.
Expressing pride in the event, Datuk Ewon highlighted the success stories of PROTEGE alumni who have become thriving entrepreneurs. “Their achievements should inspire and motivate other students to venture into entrepreneurship,” he said.
The carnival underscored the ministry’s commitment to fostering a new generation of innovative and self-reliant entrepreneurs in Sabah.
