BANGI, Malaysia June 29, 2025 – A ceremony to present certificates for the Self-Employment Social Security Scheme (SKSPS) contributions, fully funded by the Federal Government and the Bangi Parliamentary Office for one year, was held today.
The mandatory SKSPS aims to protect self-employed workers, including riders and hawkers, by providing a social safety net. This initiative reflects the MADANI Government’s commitment to supporting workers, particularly those in the informal sector.
To boost registration and contributions, the Bangi Parliamentary Office collaborated with Sungai Ramal DUN Coordinator Haji Mazwan Johar, Kajang Municipal Council, Selangor Aspirasi Action Club, EVO Mall, and PERKESO to organize the event. All contributors received souvenirs from the organizers, with total contributions amounting to RM14,000 covered by the office.
Bangi MP Syahredzan Johan expressed gratitude to the Office of Human Resources Minister Steven Sim Chee Keong for their support in making the program a success.
