PUTRAJAYA, 24 August 2026 – Prime Minister Dato’ Seri Anwar Ibrahim on Monday chaired a regular meeting with the Chief Secretaries of Ministries and Heads of Services to review efforts to strengthen governance and accelerate reforms in government administration.
In a statement posted on his official X account, Anwar said the meeting focused on examining the reinforcement of good governance and the implementation of administrative reforms.
He conveyed several key messages to senior civil servants, emphasising the importance of continuously improving the delivery and communication of government policies.
“This is so that every policy, effort and renewal that is implemented can be understood and its benefits felt by the people,” Anwar stated.
The Prime Minister shared several photographs from the session, showing him interacting with senior officials and addressing the meeting.
The update was accompanied by the hashtags #MalaysiaMadani and #YakinMADANI, reflecting the government’s ongoing commitment to its MADANI vision of progressive and people-centred administration.
The periodic meeting forms part of continuous efforts by the unity government to enhance public sector performance and ensure that reforms reach ordinary Malaysians effectively.
