The figure represents a significant 10.38% increase (RM19.186 billion) from the previous year, announced at the agency’s 30th anniversary celebration (Hari HASiL ke-30) held at Menara Hasil here today.

He stressed that tax revenue plays a crucial role in funding essential public services including education, healthcare, social protection, and national development.
The Prime Minister also reaffirmed the government’s commitment to strengthening governance, ensuring every ringgit is spent prudently, and closing all avenues for leakages and wastage amid challenging global economic conditions.
Fadillah, who is also Minister of Energy Transition and Water Transformation, urged the private sector to continue innovating, increasing productivity, and adopting flexible work arrangements in line with the aspirations of the MADANI Economy.
He added that the government will further empower digitalisation and artificial intelligence (AI) to build a more efficient, transparent, and trustworthy tax system for the rakyat.
During the ceremony, the Prime Minister’s Awards for 2025 (Anugerah Perdana Hasil Tahun 2025) were presented to top individual and corporate taxpayers in recognition of their exemplary compliance and contributions to national development.
