SEPANG Oct 4, 2026 — Formula 1 Race Control has confirmed that the Bahrain Grand Prix at Sepang International Circuit will start at 16:33 local time after earlier wet-weather delays.
In a live update on its official account, the championship said: “RACE CONTROL: The race will start at 16:33 local time.”
The revised start follows an earlier suspension of the starting procedure that sent drivers back to the pits as rain disrupted the Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix at the Malaysian circuit.
Formula 1 shared the Race Control notice under the #F1 and #BahrainGP tags.
