Kuala Lumpur, Wednesday, 10 June 2026 — Bioalpha Holdings Berhad (“Bioalpha”) yesterday welcomed students from France currently participating in an internship programme in Malaysia through Art Market Malaysia for an educational visit to its halal-certified manufacturing facility, providing them with first-hand exposure to Malaysia’s thriving halal industry and nutraceutical manufacturing sector.
The visit was part of an experiential learning initiative aimed at fostering international knowledge exchange and cross-cultural understanding. During the visit, the students gained insights into Bioalpha’s manufacturing processes, quality standards, research and development efforts, as well as Malaysia’s position as a recognised global halal hub.
Executive Director of Bioalpha, Ms Joe Ang, said the visit provided a meaningful platform to showcase Malaysia’s strengths in halal manufacturing and natural health products to an international audience.

“We are delighted to welcome these young talents from France and share a deeper understanding of Malaysia’s halal industry. Halal certification today represents quality, safety and trust that are recognised worldwide. It is especially encouraging to see many of the international students already familiar with renowned Malaysian herbs such as Tongkat Ali and Kacip Fatimah, reflecting the growing global appreciation for Malaysia’s rich natural wellness heritage. Through exchanges like this, we hope to strengthen international understanding while showcasing Malaysia’s capabilities on the global stage.”
The students were also introduced to the potential of Malaysian botanical ingredients and the role of innovation in advancing the health and wellness industry. Bioalpha believes initiatives such as these play an important role in promoting knowledge sharing, strengthening international collaboration and enhancing global awareness of Malaysia’s expertise in halal manufacturing and herbal sciences.
