The event also marked a significant milestone: the first oil production from FPSO Atlanta, Yinson’s third floating production storage and offloading (FPSO) unit in Brazil, developed for Brava Energia. This achievement underscores not only technical success but also the strong strategic collaboration and shared commitment to progress and prosperity between the two nations.

In his speech, Anwar urged Malaysian companies to proactively explore new markets and leverage platforms like BRICS to unlock growth opportunities beyond traditional markets such as the United States and China.

He highlighted the success of Malaysian companies like Petronas and Yinson in Brazil as proof of Malaysia’s ability to compete in rapidly developing economies. Anwar also noted that Brazilian President Lula da Silva expressed admiration upon learning about Malaysia’s business footprint in Brazil, signaling immense potential for further exploration.

The dinner reaffirmed Malaysia’s growing global presence and its commitment to fostering mutually beneficial international partnerships.
