SHANGHAI, November 5 – HoYoverse developer miHoYo has set a spring 2027 launch window for Honkai: Nexus Anima on PC, iOS and Android, and opened recruitment for a Final Closed Beta that begins on November 25, 2026.
Sign-ups are available on the official Honkai: Nexus Anima website. According to HoYoLAB FAQ material reported by GamerBraves and Gematsu, recruitment runs from November 5, 2026 at 12.00 noon Malaysia time to November 22, 2026 at 9.59am Malaysia time.
miHoYo describes Honkai: Nexus Anima as an open-world creature-catching adventure RPG. In the Final Closed Beta, players take the role of an Animaster starting from the town of Iia, unlocking new story chapters and meeting companions and rivals with their own backgrounds.
The developer said the test expands exploration across settings such as a traditional bank, a high-rise office and a lighthouse island, while players can return to an RV to rest or build habitats for their Anima. Combat is also being upgraded, with the Nexus Arena mode allowing custom lineups and ranked matches.
GamerBraves reported that players may encounter Anima in Chromatic forms and travel with juvenile Anima that grow over time. Event Bond rules are being adjusted so the first 5-star Eidos or Anima obtained is guaranteed to be the current limited one, and claiming the limited Eidos also grants the matching Anima Companion.
The Final Closed Beta is a limited-slot test on PC, Android and iOS, and account data will be wiped when it ends. Selected testers are to be notified by email, SMS and the eligibility checker after submitting the recruitment questionnaire. miHoYo warned players to use only the official site and to beware of fake test downloads.
HoYoverse has not named an exact spring 2027 release day. Further schedule details for the November 25 beta are expected in later official announcements as the company moves the project from closed testing toward a multi-platform launch.
The announcement keeps Honkai: Nexus Anima on the mobile and PC roadmap for Southeast Asian players who follow HoYoverse’s other live-service titles, and gives applicants a short window to complete the questionnaire before recruitment closes on November 22.
