SURABAYA, November 5 – Natus Vincere (NAVI) and Team Liquid ID will meet in the upper bracket final of the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League Indonesia (MPL ID) Season 18 after both won their upper bracket semi-finals 3-1 at the Jatim International Expo in Surabaya, East Java, on November 5, 2026.
The best-of-five upper final is scheduled for Friday, November 6, 2026. The winner advances straight to the Grand Final, while the loser drops into the lower bracket and stays in the title race. The MPL ID champion also earns a place at the M8 World Championship.
NAVI beat Alter Ego 3-1
In the afternoon semi-final, Alter Ego took the opening game before NAVI answered with three straight wins to seal a 3-1 series, according to Medcom.
Medcom reported that NAVI controlled objectives across their three victories, including perfect Turtle takes in those games. Jungler Joshuaa was named Player of the Match after starring in NAVI’s winning maps.
Alter Ego drop to the lower bracket, where they face the loser of the evening semi-final.
Team Liquid ID beat Bigetron 3-1
In the evening match, regular-season leaders Team Liquid ID beat Bigetron by Vitality 3-1, Indonesian news agency ANTARA reported.
Team Liquid ID won the first two games before Bigetron took game three. Team Liquid ID then closed out game four to book their place in the upper final. Aldhia “Aran” Aranda was player of the game in the first two maps, while Muhammad “Lyoni” Wijaya took the honour in the decisive fourth game, ANTARA said.
“Their gameplay put a lot of pressure on the EXP lane. It was not so obvious in games one and two, but it really showed in game three. Game four became a battle of pressure, but we already knew how to handle it,” Aran said after the match, as quoted by ANTARA from the MPL Indonesia broadcast.
What comes next
Friday’s slate pairs NAVI against Team Liquid ID in the upper bracket final and Alter Ego against Bigetron by Vitality in the lower bracket semi-final. The Grand Final is scheduled for Sunday, November 8, 2026.
Four teams remain in contention for the MPL ID Season 18 title and the accompanying path toward M8.
