KUALA LUMPUR, MALAYSIA January 24, 2026 – Minister of Domestic Trade and Cost of Living, Datuk Armizan Mohd Ali, today emphasised that all strategic plans of the Ministry of Domestic Trade and Cost of Living (KPDN) for 2026 must be effectively implemented so that their benefits are truly seen, heard, and felt by the people.
He made the statement after spending the entire day with the ministry’s top management and officers on the second day of the KPDN Strategic Retreat on Direction & Focus 2026.
In his social media post, Datuk Armizan said he had reviewed and contributed suggestions on the strategic plans presented according to the ministry’s clusters and divisions.
“This platform is highly significant as a check-and-balance mechanism to ensure that every plan is meaningful by prioritising the people’s interests,” he said.
He also reiterated his reminder that the implementation of all planned initiatives must align with the three key indicators outlined for KPDN 2026 — encompassing blueprints (action plans), footprints (implementation impact), and imprints (profound impact on the people).
“We do not want plans that are merely perfect on paper. What matters more is that they are executed, and the real benefits are heard, seen, and felt. It is time to keep working,” he stressed.
The strategic retreat was held in Kuala Lumpur, starting yesterday and concluding today.
