PUTRAJAYA, MALAYSIA December 31, 2025 – Prime Minister Dato’ Seri Anwar Ibrahim reaffirmed his government’s unwavering commitment to eradicating corruption, declaring that no one will be spared regardless of their position or political affiliation.
In a special media session held at the Prime Minister’s Office in Putrajaya, Anwar emphasized that actions have already been taken against individuals involved in corrupt practices, including members of his own administration, party allies, opposition figures, military leaders, and civil servants.
“We will not compromise or bow to any threats, and we will act firmly against anyone still entangled in the remnants of this country’s corrupt culture,” Anwar stated.
He highlighted that these measures are essential to “save the nation, ensure public funds are used appropriately, and defend the fate of ordinary citizens.”
The Prime Minister’s remarks come amid ongoing high-profile investigations into corruption cases, underscoring the Madani government’s focus on good governance and anti-graft efforts as Malaysia closes out 2025.
