KUALA LUMPUR, 24 DECEMBER 2025 – Advancecon Holdings Berhad (前进控股有限公司) (“Advancecon” or “the Group”) (Bursa: 5281), an established provider of earthworks and civil engineering services in Malaysia, today announced the appointment of Ms. Phum Boon Eng (“Ms. Phum”) as Managing Director, effective 22 December 2025, marking a key milestone in the Group’s leadership renewal and long-term succession planning.
In her role as Managing Director, Ms. Phum will focus on organisational modernisation and cultural transformation, strengthening operational excellence and customer experience, enhancing stakeholder engagement, and advancing sustainable growth initiatives aligned with the Board’s strategic direction.

Ms. Phum currently serves as Head of Advancecon’s Solar Division, where she has been instrumental in building the Group’s renewable energy capabilities and supporting its diversification into sustainable infrastructure. Her appointment reflects the Board’s confidence in her leadership continuity, deep understanding of the Group’s operations, and ability to steer Advancecon through its next phase of growth.
The appointment reflects Advancecon’s strategic emphasis on next-generation leadership, organisational modernisation, and the strengthening of internal culture and cross-functional collaboration as the Group continues to evolve alongside Malaysia’s infrastructure and urban development landscape.

Ms. Phum is the daughter of Dato’ Phum Ang Kia. The Board has undertaken the necessary assessments and is satisfied that she meets the fit and proper criteria, and that her appointment is in the best interests of the Group. The Board believes her diverse professional background and leadership approach will complement Advancecon’s existing management team and strengthen its organisational depth.
