KOTA BHARU, June 16, 2026 — A total of 79 National Information Dissemination Centres (NADI) are now fully operational across Kelantan, making digital facilities available in every state legislative constituency (DUN) in the state.
Communications Minister Datuk Fahmi Fadzil said each NADI centre is equipped with high-speed internet access and various modules covering education, school learning, entrepreneurship empowerment, and training in the latest technologies including Artificial Intelligence (AI).
“In addition to focusing on digital literacy, the role of NADI has now been expanded to the community health sector through strategic collaboration with the Ministry of Health (KKM),” he said.
He made the remarks after the Letter of Appointment Handover Ceremony for NADI Centre Managers at a hotel here yesterday.
Fahmi emphasised that this initiative will strengthen rural health integration and ensure residents in remote areas benefit from better access to information and digital services.
Also present were senior officials from the Ministry of Communications and the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC).
