SEPANG Oct 4, 2026 — Formula 1 has turned the spotlight on its Sepang front row, sharing race-day images of pole-sitter Max Verstappen and Ferrari’s Lewis Hamilton ahead of lights out in Malaysia.
In a post on its official X account, the championship labelled the pairing “The front row”, posting portraits of both drivers as Sunday’s Bahrain Grand Prix build-up continued at Sepang International Circuit.
Verstappen starts from pole after a qualifying lap of 1:35.130 on Saturday, with Hamilton lining up alongside him in second — locking out the front row for Red Bull Racing and Ferrari.
The posts come as Formula 1 ramps up race-day messaging from Sepang, where the Dutch champion took his first pole of the 2026 season.
