KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 5 (Bernama) — Singer and entrepreneur Nourul Depp has once again been selected to participate in the 2026 Women’s Leadership Apprenticeship Programme (PERANTIS), continuing her efforts to empower women through personal development, leadership and personal transformation.

Nourul, who is also an RMT Certified Life Coach and an HRD Corp-accredited speaker, will serve as a guest speaker at the programme organised by the Ministry of Women, Family and Community Development (KPWKM) through the Department of Women’s Development (JPW).
PERANTIS 2026 will be held at Tamu Hotel Kuala Lumpur on Oct 17 and 18, beginning at 9.30 am.

Also appearing as a guest speaker is Dato Sri Alha Alfa, while Atilia will serve as a guest instructor.
The PERANTIS programme was established to develop women’s leadership talent through knowledge sharing, mentoring and the experiences of successful women leaders and prominent figures.

For 2026, KPWKM has allocated RM4 million for the programme, targeting 80 women leaders and 4,000 participants nationwide.
For Nourul, being involved in PERANTIS once again means more than recognition, as it provides an opportunity to help women discover their potential and build self-confidence.
“I am deeply grateful and honoured to once again have the opportunity to be part of PERANTIS. For me, being a woman leader is not simply about titles or positions.

“What matters more is what we do with the opportunities given to us to touch the lives of other women, help them recognise their potential and give them the courage to move forward,” she said.
With more than three decades of experience in Malaysia’s music industry, Nourul is now also active in entrepreneurship, personal development and coaching.
She is the founder of Firetalk, a personal development platform focusing on self-awareness, emotional intelligence, resilience, mindset and personal transformation.
According to Nourul, Firetalk was created as a space for women to look within themselves, confront challenges and life experiences, and rebuild their confidence to move forward.

“I believe leadership does not necessarily begin with a position or title. Sometimes leadership begins when a woman decides to believe in herself once again.
“When a woman changes the way she sees herself, she can also change the way she sees her family, career, business and future,” she said.
Nourul’s involvement in PERANTIS 2026 is aligned with Firetalk’s mission to bring personal transformation into women’s leadership development.
Her journey from the music industry to entrepreneurship and personal development has also shaped her approach to empowering women.
This year, she also realised her dream of staging her first solo concert, For You: Nourul, at Zepp Kuala Lumpur, following more than three decades in the music industry.
For Nourul, her experiences in life and career have shown that everyone has the opportunity to change and rebuild their lives.
“I want women to know they do not have to remain the version of themselves shaped by their past. We can change. We can heal. We can rebuild ourselves.
“And we can choose a new direction in life, regardless of our age,” she said.
She said her aim was not to tell women who they should become, but to help them identify their strengths and potential.
“I do not want to tell women who they should become. I want to help them discover who they truly are and the potential they may not have recognised within themselves.
“That is the true spirit of women’s leadership, not simply succeeding for ourselves, but creating a path for other women to step forward with courage,” she said.
Nourul continues to draw on her experience in the arts, entrepreneurship and professional training to help individuals identify their strengths, overcome internal barriers and build more meaningful lives.
She also hopes her involvement in PERANTIS 2026 will benefit more women by helping them build self-confidence and develop their potential.
