SEPANG May 20, 2026 – Communications Minister and Lembah Pantai Member of Parliament Datuk Fahmi Fadzil paid a special visit to Hajj pilgrims from his constituency at the Tabung Haji Sepang Complex on Tuesday, 19 May 2026, just before their scheduled departure to the Holy Land on Wednesday morning.
The visit allowed Fahmi to meet and interact personally with the jemaah haji (pilgrims) and their families as they prepared for the sacred journey. Accompanying photos from the Lembah Pantai parliamentary office showed the minister engaging warmly with groups of pilgrims, including women and children, inside the modern facility.
In a statement accompanying the visit, the Lembah Pantai MP’s office expressed hopes that all pilgrims would have their affairs eased, enjoy good health throughout the pilgrimage, and be granted a haji mabrur — a Hajj accepted by Allah.
This gesture reflects ongoing support from the Lembah Pantai constituency office for residents undertaking the Islamic pilgrimage, which is facilitated through Malaysia’s Tabung Haji savings scheme.
Fahmi Fadzil, who has served as MP for Lembah Pantai since 2018, frequently engages with his constituents on community and religious matters.
The pilgrims are part of Malaysia’s annual Hajj contingent heading to Mecca for the 2026 season.
