KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 4 (Bernama) — Around 100 Lamborghini vehicles added excitement to the Citrawarna Speed Festival 2026 today through the “2026 Exclusive Lamborghini Convoy” from Putrajaya to the Sepang International Circuit (SIC), Selangor.

The convoy was flagged off from IOI City Mall, Putrajaya at noon before proceeding to SIC along the designated route.
Upon arrival at SIC, the vehicles were showcased in an open-air automotive exhibition, giving members of the public, motorsport enthusiasts and international visitors an opportunity to view the iconic collection up close.
The convoy was flagged off by Political Secretary to the Minister of Finance Muhammad Kamil Abdul Munim and Secretary-General of the Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture Dato’ Shaharuddin Abu Sohot.

From January to August 2026, Malaysia recorded 28.8 million international visitor arrivals, an increase of 1.8 per cent from 28.2 million arrivals during the same period last year.

The festival is also expected to generate economic spillovers for related sectors, including hospitality, food and beverage as well as retail businesses in Putrajaya and Sepang.
According to the 2025 Tourism Satellite Account, the tourism industry contributed 15.9 per cent to Malaysia’s Gross Domestic Product (GDP), equivalent to RM323.0 billion in Tourism Gross Value Added (GVATI).
Citrawarna Speed Festival 2026 is among the initiatives supporting the Visit Malaysia 2026-2027 (VM2026-2027) campaign, which emphasises sustainable tourism development while showcasing the country’s diverse natural attractions, cultural heritage and tourism experiences.
