KEADILAN Hails Australia and Italy’s Bold Moves Against Israel

PETALING JAYA, 20 August 2025 – The International Affairs Bureau of Parti Keadilan Rakyat (Keadilan) has voiced its strong support for the decisive actions taken by Australia and Italy against Israel, marking a significant stance on the global stage.

This follows Australia’s revocation of a visa for a senior Israeli political figure, who chairs the country’s Constitution, Law, and Justice Committee, and Italy’s decision to exclude Israel from the prestigious ‘Fiera de Levante’ international trade fair. The bureau described these measures as lawful and appropriate applications of international law to hold Israel accountable for alleged war crimes and genocide in Gaza.

In a statement, the International Affairs Bureau of Keadilan highlighted key points:
1. The actions by Australia and Italy are legitimate and courageous steps to end systematic killings and penalize what it calls a genocidal Israeli regime.
2. Other nations are urged to follow suit with measures such as visa bans, trade suspensions, and arms embargoes against Israel.
3. Countries or companies continuing to support Israel with platforms, arms, or resources could be deemed complicit in war crimes and genocide under International Humanitarian Law.

The bureau concluded that Israel must be isolated and recorded in history as a perpetrator of war crimes and genocide. It stressed that comprehensive global pressure through diplomatic, economic, political, and legal channels is the strategic path to halting the ongoing atrocities.

“International law must be upheld; genocide must be stopped,” the statement asserted.
