WASHINGTON, Aug 6, 2025 — Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.) has a net favorability rating 12 points higher than President Donald Trump, according to a recent Gallup poll of American adults.

The survey, conducted from July 7 to 21 with 1,002 participants, shows Ocasio-Cortez with 34% favorable views and 38% unfavorable, resulting in a net rating of -4. Trump, in contrast, garnered 41% favorable and 57% unfavorable opinions, yielding a net of -16.
The poll also highlighted other figures, including Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) with a +11 net favorability and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy at +18. Pope Leo XIV topped the list with a strong +46 net rating.
