PENANG, Malaysia, July 19, 2025 – Prime Minister Dato’ Seri Anwar Ibrahim today launched the Penang Bumiputera Development Master Plan 2026-2035, the Tunas MADANI Programme, and the JKPSB Housing Project at UiTM Penang Branch, marking a significant step toward inclusive and sustainable growth for the Bumiputera community.
Addressing the challenges faced by Bumiputeras in accessing business opportunities, enhancing entrepreneurial capabilities, securing quality education, and owning affordable, comfortable homes, the Prime Minister emphasized that leadership is a responsibility to serve the people. “Power is not merely to be held or privileged; it is a trust that must be utilized for the benefit of the rakyat,” he said, stressing the need for policies, programs, and projects that truly address the people’s needs.
The MADANI government reaffirmed its commitment through the Master Plan, which aims to drive inclusive and sustainable Bumiputera development. The Tunas MADANI Programme will focus on nurturing resilient young entrepreneurs, while the JKPSB Housing Project seeks to provide more affordable housing options for the public.
The event also featured the Didik Kasih Peranti MADANI Programme, an initiative to honor students from underprivileged families who excelled in their SPM examinations, recognizing their academic achievements.
Adding vibrancy to the occasion, a people’s feast brought together over 3,000 local residents, symbolizing the close bond and openness between leaders and the community.
The launch underscores the MADANI government’s dedication to empowering the Bumiputera community while fostering unity and progress for all Malaysians.
