SEPANG Oct 4, 2026 — Formula 1 has marked race day at Sepang International Circuit with a Sunday greeting as the Bahrain Grand Prix prepares for lights out in Malaysia.
In a post on its official X account, the championship declared “SUNDAY IN SEPANG”, sharing aerial and circuit images of the Malaysian venue packed for the race weekend.
“SUNDAY IN SEPANG,” the account said.
The message lands on race morning after Saturday qualifying, which put Max Verstappen on pole ahead of Ferrari’s Lewis Hamilton for the front row.
Fans and teams are gathered at the Sepang circuit as Formula 1 continues its 2026 calendar stop in Malaysia under the Bahrain Grand Prix banner.
