KUALA LUMPUR, MALAYSIA January 28, 2026 – Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Energy Transition & Water Transformation, Dato’ Sri Fadillah Yusof, today officially launched the Dashboard Status Pelaksanaan Perjanjian Malaysia (MA63) at a ceremony held in Parliament.
The digital platform serves as an official, transparent reference source displaying the real-time status of MA63 implementation, ongoing negotiations, and related legal foundations concerning the rights of Sabah and Sarawak.
In his address, Fadillah highlighted that prior to this initiative, information on MA63 was scattered across various sources such as media reports and parliamentary Hansard records, making it challenging for the public to obtain a comprehensive overview. The newly launched dashboard consolidates this information into a structured, accurate, and continuously updated central public reference, aligning with the transparency principles of the **Kerajaan MADANI**.
Key highlights from the launch include:
– A total of 29 MA63 matters have been discussed to date.
– 13 matters have been implemented, including 9 resolved under the current Kerajaan MADANI administration.
– 16 matters remain under negotiation, involving complex historical issues, constitutional amendments, and detailed legal considerations.
The dashboard aims to:
– Serve as a transparent and easily accessible reference on MA63.
– Reduce public confusion and misconceptions.
– Enhance understanding of constitutional rights and responsibilities.
– Encourage ideas and collaboration to accelerate MA63 implementation.
Fadillah emphasized that MA63 is not merely a regional issue but concerns the future of a fair, united, and mutually respectful Malaysia. The platform symbolizes the government’s commitment to justice, transparency, and a more balanced federation.
He concluded: “MA63 is about the future of Malaysia that is fair, united, and respectful to one another. With this dashboard, facts are now at your fingertips. Insya-Allah, understanding leads to greater harmony.”
The launch was attended by key figures from Parliament and relevant stakeholders, marked by a ceremonial button-pushing moment symbolizing the official activation of the digital dashboard.
This initiative underscores the government’s ongoing efforts to strengthen federal-state relations based on the Federal Constitution and the original Malaysia Agreement 1963.
