MALAYSIA, LUMUT, June 15, 2025 – Dato’ Seri Anwar Ibrahim, President of Parti Keadilan Rakyat (KEADILAN), held a significant meeting with Perak state leaders and party members yesterday evening, marking a pivotal moment following the recent party elections.

The strong turnout reflected the enduring spirit of unity among KEADILAN members, Anwar noted.
Addressing the gathering, Anwar emphasized that competition is a natural part of any democratic organization, including KEADILAN. He described the clash of ideas and perspectives within the party as a source of strength, fostering robust discourse, intellectual maturity, and pure idealism.
“Now is the time to move forward,” Anwar urged, calling on election winners to embrace those who were defeated, rebuild camaraderie, and strengthen the party’s resolve.
He stressed KEADILAN’s culture of engagement over criticism, a practice he has long championed to reflect, regroup, and reinforce the party’s commitment to the people and nation.
Quoting Abraham Lincoln’s post-Civil War address, Anwar reminded members: “With malice toward none, with charity for all… let us strive on to finish the work we are in.”
Following a similar engagement in Melaka last week, Perak was the second state on Anwar’s post-election unity tour. He expressed confidence that KEADILAN would continue to advance as a united family, with more state visits planned.
