Home Minister Datuk Seri Saifuddin Nasution Ismail praised the Prime Minister’s commitment, stating, “Though it took some time, Alhamdulillah, he remains true to his word. The Prime Minister is a man of his words, and God willing, every promise made will be delivered for the people of Malaysia.”

To ensure eligibility for the targeted subsidy, Malaysians are urged to take immediate action:

✅ **Check your MyKad** – Ensure the chip is functional and readable, as it will be used to verify identity when purchasing subsidized fuel.

Those with damaged or unreadable MyKad chips can visit any National Registration Department (JPN) office or counter nationwide for a replacement, which can typically be processed on the same day.

“Don’t wait until the last minute. Check your MyKad early to enjoy the benefits of this targeted petrol subsidy,” Saifuddin advised.

The MADANI government reaffirmed its commitment to supporting Malaysians, prioritizing public welfare, and fostering economic prosperity with integrity and responsibility.
