KULIM, KEDAH, MALAYSIA January 16, 2026 – Home Minister Datuk Seri Saifuddin Nasution Ismail announced that the MADANI Cheapest Sale held this morning at Padang Taman Selasih, Kulim, successfully offered essential kitchen items at very affordable prices, receiving an enthusiastic response and expressions of gratitude from the public.
In a social media post, he highlighted the attractive offer on fresh chicken sold at RM8 per kilogramme.
“Chicken 1kg RM8… one bird weighing 1.7kg… they gave me 2 birds for RM15,” he wrote, emphasising how remarkably cheap the prices were.
He described the programme as “truly very affordable” and shared that many visitors personally approached him to express their relief and thanks.
“Many people came up to me, saying they felt relieved and thanked us because programmes like this genuinely help lighten kitchen expenses, especially when rising prices remain a major concern for many,” he added.
The affordable sale programme is one of the initiatives organised through his Service Centre. Saifuddin Nasution also assured that efforts like this will not stop here.
“InshaAllah, we won’t stop at this. We will bring similar programmes to other areas so that more people can benefit from them,” he said.
The MADANI Cheapest Sale is part of the government’s efforts to assist the public in coping with the cost of living, which continues to be a primary worry, particularly for low- and middle-income households.o
