ALOR SETAR, KEDAH, MALAYSIA January 16, 2026 – The State Leadership Council (MPN) of KEADILAN Kedah held its first meeting of 2026 to review the party’s organisational direction at the state level, in line with the need to strengthen its machinery and preparedness to face current and upcoming political challenges.
In a media statement issued today, MPN KEADILAN Kedah emphasised organisational restructuring through a blend of experienced and new progressive leadership to bolster the party’s strength and expand grassroots support across the state.

Focus was also given to planning strategic initiatives ahead of the Kedah State Legislative Assembly Election (DUN), including strengthening the election machinery, solidifying the people’s welfare agenda, and adopting a mature, principled, and people-centred political approach.
The meeting further stressed the need to effectively promote the successes and initiatives of the MADANI Government that deliver long-term benefits to the people of Kedah, covering aspects of economy, welfare, education, infrastructure, and social well-being, so that the Federal Government’s contributions can be better understood.
KEADILAN Kedah also reaffirmed the party’s ongoing commitment to playing the role of a responsible and constructive opposition in the State Legislative Assembly through effective, fact-based checks and balances, to ensure transparent and integrity-driven state governance.
The party pledged to continue moving forward with a more structured and effective approach to ensure KEADILAN remains relevant as a platform for the people’s struggle, in line with the aspirations for reform and contemporary societal demands.
