PUTRAJAYA, MALAYSIA 25 December 2025 – Malaysian Prime Minister Dato’ Seri Anwar Ibrahim has urged Malaysians to continue choosing the path of unity, dialogue, and mutual respect amid global challenges such as economic uncertainty, humanitarian conflicts, and social divisions.
In a social media post in conjunction with the Christmas celebration, Anwar emphasised that national harmony does not happen by chance but is built through fair policies, equal opportunities, and a culture of mutual understanding among the multi-religious and multi-ethnic people under the MADANI government.
“True unity manifests when every citizen is respected, protected, and given space to contribute to the nation’s future,” said Anwar.
He also called on the people to strengthen their resolve to reject hatred and foster empathy, as Malaysia’s strength lies in unity in diversity.
“Merry Christmas to all Christians celebrating it tomorrow. May this celebration bring peace, harmony, and prosperity to Malaysia and all its people,” added the Prime Minister.
The message is seen as a reaffirmation of the MADANI government’s commitment to inclusive values and national unity, especially during the festive season that celebrates Malaysia’s cultural diversity.
