MALAYSIA, Kuala Lumpur, June 21, 2025 – Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) has appointed its Vice-President, Nurul Izzah Anwar, and Home Minister, Datuk Seri Panglima Saifuddin Nasution Ismail, as Joint Election Directors. The announcement was made by PKR Chief Information Officer, Datuk Fahmi Fadzil, following the Political Bureau and Central Leadership Council (MPP) meeting yesterday.
Fahmi revealed that Saifuddin was also appointed as a member of the Political Bureau. The approved list of appointments is as follows:
- Secretary-General: Datuk Dr. Fuziah Salleh
- Treasurer-General: William Leong
- Joint Election Directors: Nurul Izzah Anwar and Datuk Seri Panglima Saifuddin Nasution Ismail (also appointed Political Bureau member)
- Chief Information Officer: Datuk Fahmi Fadzil
- Sabah State Leadership Council (MPN) Chairman: Datuk Mustapha Sakmud
In a statement, Fahmi expressed the party’s highest appreciation for the sacrifices, contributions, and services of the former Deputy President and other leaders, hoping they would continue to contribute to the party’s struggles.
The meeting also discussed current issues, including global geopolitics and economics, as well as the party’s preparations for the upcoming Sabah State Election.
