MEROTAI, TAWAU, SABAH, MALAYSIA November 16, 2025 – Datuk Ruji Ubi, the DUN Merotai candidate from Pakatan Harapan (PH), visited Tamu Ahad Merotai this morning to treat the vendors while introducing himself to local residents as Candidate No. 4.
During the friendly walkabout session, Datuk Ruji also took time to chat with the local community, where he received a warm welcome from Merotai residents. He expressed his gratitude for this opportunity to connect more closely with the people.
“Alhamdulillah, this morning I had the chance to go on a walkabout while treating the traders at Tamu Ahad Merotai. This session also provided space for me to introduce myself to the local residents as the DUN Merotai Candidate, Candidate No. 04. Thank you for the warm welcome from the Merotai community,” said Datuk Ruji in his statement.
Datuk Ruji’s visit to the weekly market is viewed as an initial effort to bolster support in the DUN Merotai area ahead of the upcoming election. Representing PH, he is expected to continue similar activities to listen to the people’s aspirations.
