KUALA LUMPUR July 8, 2026 — The Ministry of Finance (MOF) announced today that RM400 in cash assistance under the BUDI Agri-Komoditi programme has been disbursed for the month of July 2026 to eligible small farmers (petani) and smallholders (pekebun kecil) across the country.
The aid, part of the broader BUDI MADANI (Bantuan Subsidi Madani) initiative, is specifically designed to help agricultural workers cope with higher diesel costs for farming machinery following the targeted rationalisation of diesel subsidies.
Key Details from the Announcement
- Amount: RM400 total per eligible recipient for July 2026.
- Breakdown: RM200 existing assistance + RM200 interim support.
- Eligibility: Small farmers and smallholders nationwide who submitted applications between 1 and 30 June 2026.
- Purpose: To offset increased operational costs in the agriculture and commodities sector.
