PUTRAJAYA June 26, 2026 – The Malaysian government has officially unveiled the theme for the 2026 National Day (Hari Kebangsaan) and Malaysia Day (Hari Malaysia) celebrations: “Malaysia MADANI: Kesejahteraan Dinikmati”, which translates to “Malaysia MADANI: Prosperity Enjoyed” or “Shared Well-being Enjoyed”.
Communications Minister Datuk Fahmi Fadzil made the announcement earlier today at Menara Komunikasi. The theme builds on the government’s ongoing MADANI vision, emphasising inclusive prosperity, national harmony, and the enjoyment of development benefits by all citizens.
In a statement accompanying the launch, Jabatan Penerangan Malaysia (Information Department) Director General Erwin Khairul Ahmad urged all Malaysians to actively support and enliven the National Month (Bulan Kebangsaan) 2026 celebrations.
A group photo released with the announcement shows senior ministry officials, including Minister Fahmi Fadzil, holding placards featuring the new theme logo alongside the Malaysia MADANI branding. The event highlighted the government’s push for unity and participation in patriotic activities throughout the year.
This marks the continuation of the MADANI framework in national festivities, following previous themes that focused on unity, sustainability, and shared values. The 2026 celebrations are expected to feature various community programmes, cultural events, and educational initiatives aimed at fostering patriotism and appreciation for the nation’s progress.
The main National Day parade is traditionally held at Dataran Putrajaya, and preparations are already underway to ensure a grand and meaningful commemoration.
Further details on the full calendar of events for Hari Kebangsaan and Hari Malaysia 2026 will be released by the relevant ministries in the coming weeks.
