GEORGETOWN. PENANG, MALAYSIA December 15, 2025 – Deputy Inspector-General of Police (DIG), Tan Sri Ayob Khan Mydin Pitchay attended the Tripartite Meeting between the Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM), Department of Chemistry Malaysia (Kimia Malaysia) and the Attorney General’s Chambers Malaysia, held at G Hotel Gurney here on the morning of 15 December.
His arrival was welcomed by the Director of the Narcotics Crime Investigation Department, CP Dato’ Hussein Omar Khan, who also serves as Chairman of the Meeting Committee.
The meeting discussed issues related to criminal cases, analysis standards, cooperation in preparing scientific evidence for court trials, as well as improvements to legal processes to ensure justice is upheld more effectively, in line with regular practices at state and central levels.
In his speech, Tan Sri Ayob Khan described the meeting as a significant strategic platform, inspired since 2019 and continuing to play an important role in strengthening the country’s criminal justice system.
“I am optimistic that with the combination of expertise, vast experience and solid commitment from all strategic partners present, this meeting will produce more comprehensive, constructive and high-impact decisions and approaches,” he said.
The meeting also served as a platform for exchanging views and expertise, particularly in strengthening forensic investigation methods, coordinating case handling, and improving work procedures for effective evidence presentation in court.
Also present were the Director of the Commercial Crime Investigation Department, CP Dato’ Rusdi Mohd Isa; Deputy Head of Prosecution Division 1 of the Attorney General’s Chambers, Dato’ Razali Che Ani; Chief Deputy Director (Policy) of Kimia Malaysia, ChM. Tuan Hj. Khairul Anuar Abdul Aziz; as well as heads of departments from the three agencies involved.
