Malaysia – The Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) deployed approximately 3,000 officers and personnel from the Kuala Lumpur Contingent Headquarters and various departments at Bukit Aman to manage traffic and ensure public safety during a recent rally in the capital. The event, attended by an estimated 18,000 participants, concluded peacefully without any incidents disrupting public order, according to a PDRM statement released on July 26, 2025, at 8:45 PM.

PDRM confirmed that no arrests were made during the rally, with all crowd control measures executed professionally and ethically. The police’s calm and responsible approach reflected their commitment to safeguarding democratic spaces while maintaining safety and decorum.
Inspector-General of Police Dato’ Sri Haji Mohd Khalid bin Haji Ismail emphasized PDRM’s dedication to upholding public order, national security, and the rights of citizens in a fair and lawful manner. “We remain committed to ensuring public safety and the protection of democratic rights in accordance with established laws,” he said.
