SELANGOR Oct 5, 2026 – Gobind Singh Deo, Malaysia’s Minister of Digital and national chairman of the Democratic Action Party (DAP), held a dinner meeting with nearly 50 party members from 11 branches in Damansara and Selayang.
In a post on X on Monday, Gobind said members, friends and loyal supporters form the core of DAP’s work. He noted that they provide views, suggestions and feedback that help the party pursue its aims more effectively.
The gathering, described as a dinner with DAP members from Damansara and Selayang, gave him a chance to hear constructive opinions and encourage members to stay focused on party activities. Photos attached to the post show groups of attendees seated at tables in a restaurant decorated with lanterns.
Gobind restated DAP’s stated goals of advancing a Malaysia that is free and just, grounded in democracy, human rights, social justice, cultural diversity and good governance. The post carried the hashtags #DAP, #Selayang and #P106, the parliamentary seat he represents.
The event forms part of routine constituency engagement by the Damansara MP with local party branches.
