PUTRAJAYA, July 11 – Home Minister Datuk Seri Saifuddin Nasution Ismail last night led a Post-Cabinet Meeting with the ministry’s top management, followed by a workshop to review parliamentary questions in preparation for the upcoming Dewan Rakyat session.
In a statement, Saifuddin emphasized that the preparations go beyond technicalities, reflecting the ministry’s responsibility to the public.
“Every question raised by Members of Parliament, regardless of their affiliation, represents the voice of the people. These must be answered with accountability, transparency, and accurate information,” he said.
He reiterated to Home Ministry staff that their duties extend beyond safeguarding national borders, security, and public order.
“We are also tasked with upholding public trust through honesty and readiness in addressing issues raised in Parliament,” Saifuddin added.
