KUALA LUMPUR July 20, 2026 — Communications Minister Datuk Seri Fahmi Fadzil today joined members of the public at Dataran Merdeka to watch the FIFA World Cup 2026 final between Spain and Argentina as part of the Fiesta Piala Dunia x Unity Merdeka 2026 event.
The festive gathering was organised by Radio Televisyen Malaysia (RTM) in collaboration with the Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) and Yayasan Prihatin. It aimed to celebrate the prestigious global sporting event while strengthening national unity ahead of Malaysia’s National Day and Malaysia Day celebrations later this year.
