Petaling Jaya, 10 July 2026 – Tropicana Corporation Berhad (“Tropicana” or the “Group”), in collaboration with the United Nations Global Compact Network Malaysia & Brunei (“UNGC”), recently organised the “From Claims to Credibility – Anti-Greenwashing Essentials” workshop as part of its ongoing commitment to strengthen ESG governance, transparency, and responsible sustainability communications across the Group.

The workshop equipped Tropicana employees with practical knowledge to identify and prevent greenwashing while reinforcing the importance of ensuring that all sustainability claims are accurate, evidence-based, and aligned with evolving regulatory expectations.
Participants gained a deeper understanding of greenwashing and received practical guidance on avoiding such practices through responsible and transparent communications. The workshop also emphasised that credible data, measurable evidence, and verifiable facts should support every sustainability claim. Employees were encouraged to adopt the principle of “Measure → Verify → Calculate → Communicate” to ensure credibility in all ESG-related disclosures.
The session further highlighted the responsibilities of listed companies in upholding strong ESG governance and accurate sustainability reporting, reinforcing the importance of ensuring that ESG disclosures, annual reports, and other public statements comply with applicable regulatory requirements.
This workshop forms part of Tropicana’s ongoing sustainability journey. The Group recently achieved a 4-Star FTSE4Good Bursa Malaysia Index rating, reflecting its continued progress in strengthening ESG performance and sustainability disclosure practices. Guided by its Vision, Mission, 8 Development DNA, and 3 ESG pillars – People, Planet, and Partnership – Tropicana remains committed to embedding sustainability into its business strategies while enhancing long term value creation for stakeholders.
As Tropicana continues to advance its sustainability journey, the Group will roll out more meaningful engagements and initiatives that reflect its commitment to fostering a culture of integrity, accountability, and transparency while strengthening ESG governance and promoting responsible business practices across the organisation.
